The GIANT Company, Caputo Brothers Creamery of Spring Grove, Pa. and Tröegs Independent Brewing of Hershey, Pa. have teamed up once again on a limited edition cheese offering – the third cheese in our Beer Cheese series - Mad Elf Beer Cheese! 

Mad Elf beer is a ruby red Belgian-style ale with notes of cherries, cinnamon, and chocolate, alongside a whopping 11% ABV. After marinating the curd in an amber pool of the beer, we age this cheese and dress up the rind with a concoction of cocoa, cinnamon, espresso, and more beer to complement the beer's flavors. The end result makes for a cheese that looks like a slice of chocolate cake with merry & bright notes of cinnamon, local honey, sweet cream and roasty chocolate.

100% of the milk used to make Mad Elf Beer Cheese comes from Pennsylvania dairy farms.
