Farm Table Dinners
Shortly after starting Caputo Brothers Creamery in 2011, David and Rynn were asked to host a few private dinners at their 197 year-old farmhouse in Spring Grove, PA. These dinners grew quickly in popularity until they outgrew the farmhouse and were moved to the new La Tavola.
This five-course group culinary experience will demonstrate our love of traditional, regional Italian cuisine while also taking advantage of local and seasonal ingredients, often pulled or preserved from our own garden!
What can you expect from the evening? These BYOB dinners last approximately 4 hours (we like to call is dinner AND a show!) and include dinner, a live cheesemaking demonstration, olive oil tasting and usually an interactive pasta or risotto making. The five courses* are made up of:
- Walk-in course – an appetizer course incorporating some of our cheeses
- Cheese course – features our hand-stretched mozzarella
- Primo – usually a pasta or risotto
- Secondo & Contorno – A meat or fish course with a vegetable. The heaviest course or main dish
- Dolci – a dessert
