The Caputos developed cheeses reminiscent of those they fell in love with while traveling and studying in Italy over the course of several years—and now they are giving you the opportunity to join them for an Italian culinary experience of a lifetime.
Years of travel through all 20 regions of Italy have allowed the Caputos to design a culinary stroll that will take even the most inexperienced traveler comfortably “off the beaten path.” Living like a local is what this adventure is all about. Each trip is designed for travelers to experience the cultural traditions through cuisine.
Caputo Brothers Creamery hosts multiple trips per year. Tours offered in the spring will explore Calabria and Sicily, the summer tour covers Puglia, Basilicata and the Sorrentine Peninsula, and trips taken in the fall focus on Northern Italy.
Due to the small size of the touring group, each person will have the ability to spend time exploring their own curiosities and finding a path to travel suited to special interests and desires.

La Cucina: Puglia 2018!
The “La Cucina” style of tour is a one-week immersion into a specific region of Italy with a singular home base of a scenic agriturismo or masseria. In 2017 we explored the heart of Puglia, the heel of the boot. It was such a fabulous trip, we have decided to return in 2018!
Introducing: “La Cucina: Puglia” 2018! July 25-31. Your week in Puglia will be filled with hands-on culinary experiences, excursions to the nearby seaside, wineries, olive groves and towns, plus some poolside relaxing! We’ll knead dough, pick produce from the gardens, and learn new cooking techniques in the stunning outdoor kitchen with a view of the Adriatic Sea.
