One of the best ways to eat in Italy is to visit and shop at a local market, and at Caputo Brothers Creamery, we expect to bring that same experience to you in Spring Grove! Our retail shop is stocked with our artisan cheeses – fresh ricotta, aged provola & provola piccante, smoked mozzarella, our new Troegenator Beer Cheese and our award-winning Vecchio! And don’t forget CapoMozz – the frozen curds to make your own mozzarella at home!
Our team stretches fresh mozzarella each morning – just like in Italy! Our shop also contains specialty items like pastas, olive oil and local products to round out your cheese board or meal!
Dine with us!
Farm Table Dinners
We periodically hold Farm Table Dinners - communal dining experiences to demonstrate our love of traditional, regional Italian cuisine while also taking advantage of local and seasonal ingredients, often pulled or preserved from our own garden!
What can you expect from the evening? These BYOB dinners include a plated dinner, live cheesemaking demonstration, and creamery tour (when available).
The five courses follow a traditional Italian meal - Antipasti (two courses, incorporating our cheeses and fresh mozzarella), Primo (pasta or risotto), Secondo & Contorno (main course with a side), and Dolci (dessert).
If you are interested in combining culture and education with cuisine, please check our online store for available dates.
We offer creamery tour experiences during store hours (last tour must arrive by 4:00p.m.). For $12/person (children under 3 are free), receive a guided behind-the-scenes tour of our creamery and aging cave, as well as a self-guided cheese tasting of our different products. If you have questions or would like to arrange a larger group tour, call 717-739-1091.
