Focaccia is the popular flat, dimpled, oven-baked Italian bread, often topped simply with salt and herbs, or with more robust toppings such as vegetables or meats. The toppings and even the shape can vary by region in Italy, and makes a great meal or on-the-go snack! You will get to create your own personal focaccia, and as we wait for the dough to rise, we’ll make some yummy Taralli! Taralli are the small doughnut-shaped snack found in just about every bar and restaurant in Italy. We will craft a fresh batch of these addictive snacks, which will beat any you can buy in the store! Our morning will end with a lunch to enjoy our creations!
In this class you’ll learn the ins and outs of both of these Italian specialities. By the end, you’ll be able to perfect both in your home kitchen, and you’ll go home with all of the recipes!
