Our mozzarella is made from naturally fermented curd, stretched in our creamery by the hands of well trained cheesemakers, and then shipped straight to your door within 2 days to ensure maximum freshness!

Our fresh mozzarella, much like the cheeses of the Italian South, utilizes the milk of family owned farms, and highlights the best of what south central PA has to offer.  We then minimally pasteurize the milk to preserve the quality and natural flora as much as possible.

As with all of our cheeses, our fresh mozzarella is made with NO vinegar or citric acid, and instead uses cultures to create a taste that will take your mouth on a free trip to Italy without the expensive plane ticket.

How much of a taste difference should you expect? One would say the cultures turn the milk from what could be a bland, salty ball of mush into a mozzarella that’s structured, buttery, and has a hint of tanginess.  This allows you to recreate traditional Italian dishes with the proper ingredient.
